Haha jokes aside, it's generally a bad idea to start antagonizing people before the game starts XD ...

Also, I'm pretty sure this isn't just a big massive pvp realm... so I'm gonna go ahead and say that you shouldn't have a "hit-list" right off the bat.

Well who's going to enforce this as not being a PvP instance?

Note that even though I've somehow appeared on the list, I still haven't officially decided if I'm going to play or not. :hurr:

None.

As opposed to PvE? You're playing only against each other.

The list can always have people removed. That's mostly just for me so I know how many roles I need. Randomizations will occur after the activity check is sent, and people are removed.

No shit sherlock. PvP implies something along the lines of just a whole bunch of people killing eachother with no regards to any sort of plot-line. I thought that was obvious.

I play on a PvP realm on WoW so I can kill the Alliance, the opposite faction. I'd say that would be killing with regards to plot-line. :P

Yes, and I was going to cap it at 20. Though I think Azrael's had more than twenty, not counting the inactives.

Azrael's had 15 players, two of which immediately went inactive.

I'm more popular than Azrael? :O

Well, considering that I've got so many participants, registration ends tomorrow at 12 PM (noon) EST. Or whenever I get up.

Just to be funny I should change my name to "You?" so I appear twice on the list.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[2026-7-16. : 6:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
