I use Galaxy S 'Hoppin'. I've used both Iphone (3g) and Droid phone, and personally, I like droid phones better. I only mention phones because tablets don't really replace the phones. I mean, they're bulky, and they're nowhere close to being portable without a bag or something. And internet surfing isn't as bad as most think on a smartphone.

IPhone. I will not mention. Except if you hack your IPhone, you cannot get apple service if your phone is broken or something. Iphones do not have exchangeable batteries. It's the main reason that prevents me from getting Iphones.

Android
- Varieties of nice designs (HTC, Samsung, Motorola, etcetc)
- Android's OS, which does not require jailbreaking.
- Interchangeable batteries. Seriously.
- You can insert External Memories.
- Starting this year, dual-core smartphones will arrive, compared to that, 4G will suck.
- You can install WP7 on an android phone without hacking. Goes same for an appleOS too.

So yeah, a 'smart' choice for smartphones/tablets will be that 'do not buy the current generation'. If not buy an android phone. Personally, I would wait for the dual-core phones, or either that, if you so want an apple Iphone, wait for the 5G.
