Alright, forget the text, and the point of the ad, I'm referring to the crappy 3d-looking people. Why are they in this, and why did they not space the models apart, just so slightly so as to prevent the white woman's arm from looking like it's growing out of the black ones stomach? And yes, this very clear flaming is a result of personal turmoil.

wth is starcraft

Ya that company releases really dumb ads. I used to see them all over the place on AC.

Here's a different one that I found a while ago and just had to ss. I can't believe I still have it.

Well at least the picture of the night elf has something to do with the ad lol.

Just here for the pie

If ads were forced to be honest they'd look like this.

Theres this really annoying one on youtube... watching some shoutcasts and this thing pops up:

It's uses the Microsoft Voice thing, where you just type in words and it attempts to speak them at you.

And it's all like "Buy WoW gold now from trusted resellers, you can show off your gear to all your friends and own them in PvP."

Soooo lame. Must try find link.

Just Here For The Pie

I believe that ads should always be brutally honest.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
