hi. i'm looking for a hack or mod that lets you instantly place units on a desired location, just like in map editors, only in-game. offline usage of course. does such an application exist? can it be made?

EUDs. There was one "god mode" map where you could press a key and then mouseover or select units to do different things. You could transfer ownership of units, delete them, kill them, turn them into triggers, and I think you could also spawn workers. It was all done with EUD actions, which are inherently offline-only.
