Ok, yesterday I was hosting fine and everything, until suddenly people couldn't join my games. It might be because of a windows update at the time, but that was just Internet Explorer 7. I made sure that my router was still on DMZ and my Windows Firewall off, but to no avail. I also system restored to December 10th, and that did nothing.

Any ideas?

Forward port 6112 for both udp and tcp in your router settings, if you haven't already.

My router is on DMZ for me, so no need.

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.

Never mind, found out it was SCMDraft corrupting my scenarios so no one could join. Look in my topic in UMS Help if you're interested.

Telling someone to port forward because it sounded like that was the problem, isn't giving a lot of information?

How were we to know that it was SCMDraft?

But, whatever.

Or do it the lazy way and use DMZ (All port foward)

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
