I'm searching for models like a simple Rectangular or a Sphere.
Aren't there any in GalaxyEdit? I'd be surprised. ;o
If anyone has played the map LightCycles in one of the Map Nights, you probably know exactly what's the kind of thing I'm looking for.

They are in the editor. If you want to change a unit's model to a shape, you can find them under /Assets/Doodads/Shapes/. In the beta editor they were selectable Doodads, but now they're just in the assets folder.

Fail me. Cardinal told me where they are: under the Units layer, there are category, choose "Shape" and there you go!
