It's actually not really that much of a myth. Hair that has been freshly cut APPEARS to be thicker because the ends are more like stubs than thinned out ends so it would appear to come out thicker though after a while the hair would wear down to be less... stubby? But yea, shaving isn't the best thing for a girl to do. You can go to a RITE AID or Walgreens for an at home waxing kit or something.

I'm wondering though. Does she do her eyebrows? My friends get their mustaches done when they go in to do their eyebrows.

If she has dark hair on a lighter tone of skin colour it's a lot more noticable to say the least. I say you deal with the issue after you've started dating, though, I'm not sure you could do it in any subtle way.
