Picture of our dacha in Russia. I miss it, it's so relaxing. We'd go mushroom picking, bike to a lake for a dip, etc. Be jealous!

Also, while I'm posting screenshots... I started getting more into pop music and found artists that Microsoft did wonders with in Zune. Here's awesome screenshots of the Zune quickplay menu:
If it doesn't have enough pictures of the artist, it makes a collage with changing light sources and such:

If it does, awesome stuff happens:

Transition between two pictures.

It has scrolling, disappearing, coming together, fading text ranging from lyrics to artist bio, zooming/panning the pictures, changing color schemes/light sources... Awesome. I reaaaaally doubt iTunes can do this. I wish there was a way to integrate this into my background. <_<.

Mine is set to randomly cycle through a folder of some of my best Halo: Reach screenshots. Icons are minimal because I have this third-party dock thing that was pre-installed on my computer.

There is. Capture it and save it as a gif.
Or try John�s Background Switcher. It has a ton of features and it works together nicely with the win7 wallpaper functions.

He just moved the taskbar to the side. Anyone can do it. Right-click on the Start button, choose "Properties", go to the "Taskbar" tab and look for a drop-down in Windows 7.

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.
