The king was called a liar and a thief? Raccoon is known to be a liar, and raccoons are well known thieves. Raccoons also hide in trees too. And maybe the bow and arrow is a robin hood reference, and they're all a bunch of tricksters and thieves. Raccoon must be guilty or Norm is trolling me again 255 is the maximum number you can create with an 8 bit number (in binary), maybe referring to 8 bit games or binary? (the sequence of 11111111 corresponds to 255). The only person's avatar that is related to 8 bit is DemonSlayer.

Last game, Norm capitalized the word "Mystery" in a night/day post for no apparent reason, as is the word "Escape" in the quote shown above, which is from this game's most recent night post.

I believe the word "Mystery" was referring to my "Murder Mystery" map (submitted to a week-long mapping contest), a clue towards me being mafia.

Now, we see the same random capitalization, only instead with the word "Escape" emphasized.

Which, I believe, is referring to Azrael.Wrath's "Tower Escape" map (also submitted to a week-long mapping contest), a clue towards him being mafia this round.

And that is why:

The biggest things in there to me are "FACE," "Escape," and the "255." I'd like to think the pest thing is important, but it seems very vague. I also think the "Boom. Headshot." was just Norm's way of speaking, but that's mostly due to the fact that I can't really piece that with anything.

When I read "FACE," I immediately thought of avatars with faces. That's a very simple observation, but the thing that sort of sets off red herring warnings is that we have a bunch of people with avatars of peoples' faces. Then I got to thinking about perhaps people posting in the post your pics thread. That's sending me on loops, though, too.

For "Escape," I also liken it to the oddly capitalized words from Norm Mafia #1. Though Norm could know we'd think about that and throw this in to confuse us, but I do like where Leeroy is going with his analysis.

Lastly with the "255," I can't help but think that is important. I checked member #255, members with 255 activity (of which there are none as of right now), members with 255 posts (none in that range are playing Mafia), and even shout #255. Nothing is really sticking, so I'm not sure about this one just yet.

So far I think Raccoon is an easy choice due to the pest comment, his weird cryptic messages seen as lies, and even the fact that he has a face in his avatar . Other than that, I suppose I can follow Leeroy's logic against Azrael. Though I do also agree with poison that Aristo's "Wow we were inefficient this turn." is a very odd choice of phrasing, I'm guessing he's referring to all of us wasting our dodges.

For now, I'll wait to vote until tomorrow in case anyone comes up with something more substantial.

Along these lines, isn't there also a map called "mystery dungeon" or something? I seem to remember seeing it in a forum topic...and if the map is intended for you to escape the dungeon...meh. If I'm just being a oh crap I just realized I'm thinking of pokemon mystery dungeon. FML.

I edited it within three minutes of posting. If Norm saw what I posted, then it could be hinting towards a particular person and/or role. Or maybe the reason given is the hint. You never know...

To be honest I doubt Norm is this simple-minded with clues but I can't find anything deeper yet, our lynches are terrible right now.

Last game, almost every single time a word was randomly capitalized, it was a red herring (Ex. "Smash" pointing at OlimarandLouie, "Question" pointing at Demonslayer, etc).

Since you'd try so hard to incriminate me, in addition to the fact that you were hellbent on killing Roy by double-teaming him last game (because he's "too good at figuring out clues") and that's exactly what happened on the first night this game, I think you're Mafia.

So hard trying to figure out who's who and what's what. imo it's too early to really dig for clues. Therefore, I abstain from today's lynch vote.

Mafia could have assumed I got an amazing role because of the jokes Norm and I have been making about "you give me a good role, I'll give you a good role" in the shoutbox. It could also explain why the black wizard and chancellor supposedly targeted me (or my "dibs" on Dark Avenger could have invoked it as well).

But on the other side, the only good clue is the one against azrael. Leeroy has good logic.
