So here's what I have:

Code
   Actions
       Timer - Start Obliteration Timer as a One Shot timer that will expire in 10.0 Real Time seconds
       Timer - Create a timer window for Obliteration Timer, with the title "Obliteration", using Remaining time (initially Visible)
       Timer - Set timer for Obliteration Timer Window to (Last started timer)
       General - Wait 10.0 Real Time seconds
       Timer - Destroy Obliteration Timer Window

The timer starts up and counts down well, but the timer isn't removed.

Do you mean the timer window or the timer?

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

TimerStart((TimerCreate()),5.0,false,c_timeGame)
TimerWindowCreate((TimerLastStarted()),"",true,false)
TimerWindowSetTimer((TimerWindowLastCreated()),(TimerLastStarted()))
Wait(5.0,c_timeGame)
TimerWindowDestroy((TimerWindowLastCreated()))

That works for me. I think I'm doing the same except the time and time type. :S
Maybe try it with saving the window in a variable...

Praetor

I already have it in a variable. Maybe that's what's wrong.

Yup, got rid of adding it to a variable and just made it 'Last Created timer window'. Works fine now.

That may be because you never set the variable to the last created timer window.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings
