Woah

So is Oo coming back for SC2 like SOLAR had suggested?

I'm not sure. Maybe Snipe and some others will try to bring back some of the old members; a lot of them are still active, but they just don't hang out in Oo. ;|

Woah

I'm mainly asking because this forum is basically unused and Oo is disbanded. If it doesn't come back like SOLAR claimed, I'll have to delete the forum.

Ya, Snipe said that it'll return.

Ya there's a good chance. It's prob best to wait about a month after ScII comes out and let everything settle. I am sure this forum is not a pull on resources, so just give it a little and i'll let you know.

PyMS and ProTRG developer

I doubt anyone remembers me except for SOLAR (I was Oo.h3ih02.oO), but I'd rejoin.

It'd be cool if Oo were to remake in SC2, but I'd rather see higher and more superior caliber map making clans be remade. EX: MP or (U). Just my 2 cents though.

So who else has gotten sc2??

i've only been on it for like 15 minutes total, but is there even a channel system? i quit playing because i'm gonna need a slightly better graphics card  i can run it, but it scrolls kinda choppy :/

Hey, long time no post but I have gotten my hands on SC2 two days ago and I tell you...
I suck at 1V1 and 2V2. So far I've used up 25 of my "practice league" matches and I've lost every single one of them. I suck as every race... guess I'll just stick to mapmaking.
But yes, if Oo "re-bands" (the lack of a better word) for SC2, I'm up for that.

No definite say on me. I haven't gotten the game and probably won't for a few weeks(family and money shenanigans).

Even when I do, I've been in a dominantly-MW2 clan for the past 2-3 months and a lot of members are expanding the clan into SC2(and have strict no multiclanning rules).

Also, idk how interested I will be in map making anymore, or UMS at all. I'd easily see me doing the story and melee games when I get bored, but I'm not into the idea of map making as much as I was... 3 years ago.

Again, you MAY(very situational unlikely "may") see me eventually. But it's not betting-man's odds.

Long time no see guys, I would definitely be down once I get sc2 and my computer upgraded accordingly. Not 100% finished doing everything I want to do in the cs world though so it might be a while. Yes, I map for cs now :P

Welcome back bud! Good to see yea again :)

I'm coming back, I need to upgrade my comp too. At the moment I've ran into some financial issues and it may take a couple weeks to a month or so to get back into the groove.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
