Jul 21 2010, 7:23 pm Devourer Post #85

Hello

Devlin and I are messing around with the skins, he is redoing epic to fit this system. Do you still get this mix? if so, please give me a screen as well as give me the URL you are using.

Mess around with SENlantis instead. This is very similar to epic, the only major difference being the background of the forums. Maplantis is an actual different color scheme and layout, and thus far more beneficial for SEN to have.

Woah

Apos is working on that and Augustgrad. I'm doing Epic and Carbonite. And a third based on SENtv.

I believe you should use the color of the buttons of the fast-reply. ^^

This looked very nice too. Moreover, the description-text is grey and and we can read it! :awesome:

Hello

Ok updated the skin a little, is now brighter and yea the top left borders for the buttons are a bit buggy, will take care of it later, but is it good as is or do you recommend an other color?

It's an English trick: notice the plural form of "button", which implies I am talking of the buttons that appear when you click that 'Fast Reply' button.
And I do not see much differences from the other skin. ;o

I want planets back. Someone make that. :P

This bugs me. Also, since a lot of coding is being redone, this could be a good time to change the xxx.yyy format for Starcraft 2 names in the profiles. :bleh:

My 1920x1080 looks nothing like that.
I broke SEN? D:
No, it looks the same here.

Also, I liked the orange "Planets" scheme more.

And using a light yellow text colour on backgrounds where the colours are washed out and look bright as well - not a great idea.

Just voicing things. :P

Just give me Corbo's .psd and I'll salvage this horrible piece of shit and make it tolerable.

You honestly need the hex color value for BLACK? REALLY? Wow. It's ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO.

The diagonal lines on, for example, the forum categories where it says the category title are badly done. It's visibly pixelated on close inspection even on my high-DPI laptop screen. 45 degrees for best results; 50 or whatever you used makes for visible bumps.

000000 is black, as you stated. Did I request you to tell me the black hex code? where? when? Why should I?

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
