:payne:

There is no button for the "Encase" option. Maybe remove the "Quote a member" button to replace it by 'Encase' ?

None.

Jun 25 2010, 6:27 pm DavidJCobb Post #682

Quote a member is useful. ENCASE can be added to the SPECIAL drop-down, like COLLAPSE.

:payne:

Being able to enter a Title to the 'Encase', would be very useful too.
I'm so used to (quote = **) to make a title. Doing this same thing with 'Encase' would be total pwnage.

Hello

why not using quote instead of encase....?

Hello

set the karma cooldown to 15 instead of 60 minutes, however, this entire karma system might be removed.

Because 'quote' is meant to be used for quoting something? Lol.

Batch uploaded maps shouldn't be in the same section as regular maps, because part of the point of uploading maps one by one is so you can put good descriptions and details in.

Maybe make a section for "map packs", but members could already upload their own map packs by themselves by uploading zips to the other section and documenting it by putting an index in the description.

Woah

I was thinking more along the lines of what Facebook does with image uploading where you upload a bunch and then get a list of all the maps to fill in descriptions for each.

Master has given Dobby a doctorate! Dobby is free!

:moose:

You may need to refresh SEN to get the full effect.

This line of CSS will prevent page stretching in the Shoutbox Main page. Long strings will be forcibly broken. Tested and confirmed to work in Mozilla Firefox 3.6.6. and Internet Explorer 8.
Code
#shoutbox_return{table-layout:fixed;word-wrap:break-word}

Works for chrome, too, and that's all that matters.

The "posts of the 24 past hours" window is weird: it's grey at first, and if you scroll down, it becomes green. ;o

Please return the "identifier" (now called character code?) part of our SCII names back to the profile. It's basically just a 3 number code that players can use to add each other as friends, or something like that.... I think mine is 788?

I'll readd it as soon as it's for sure :)

The "Check Names" in the PM system is now working, though it acts as the "Find Names" should. :P
Anyways, it is labeled as "Coming soon."
Fix fix fix! :awesome:

Jul 11 2010, 6:28 am Fire_Kame Post #700

wth is starcraft

I search for my name on the forums frequently to see what you freaks are saying about me. I've noticed results coming up if I link a photo from my photobucket account (since the account name is fire_kame or something), as well as if someone quotes me as saying something even though my name never appears in the text...only in the quote tags.

Just kinda strange. Don't know if I'd call it a bug, but thought maybe I should bring it to your attention. Not to mention that Search feature is really complicated XD so many parameters...

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
