I'm no good at modeling, and I know this is kinda a tall order, but is there any way for someone to make a high quality, animated model of a Void Ray pilot, with a Lenassa Dark Templar warp blade, based on the portriat of a Void Ray?

any help on this would be greatly appreciated, I feel bad about asking for something like this....
here is a LARGE void ray portrait

Thanks

ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO

Sorry, I did a quick try but I'm not going to get anywhere for a while.

The VoidRay Pilot model is there, it's easy to extract but since you don't really need to view the whole body (in the portrait) blizzard didn't feel like making all of it so we only have from the waist up.
I tried combining it with the DT model but the DT is one of those units that are still messed up. (Bones everywhere)

The only solution would be the hard one :P
Making the rest of the body and animating it which should take considerably long with the little time I have. I'll try to see if I can do it with the zealot instead of a DT, though, probably tomorrow or sunday.

fuck you all

Thanks, I wish I could give something in return.. its just that I can't afford modeling software right now, and have 0 experience with modeling.

Ultraviolet -- just sent you a message on Discord. I suspect you're probably trying to change unit speeds for units that don't use flingy.dat for movement (like any units that walk instead of hovering/flying). You can change their movement to flingy, but they unfortunately look more like they're gliding than walking when you do that.

Symmetry -- EE2, I've been using setdatfile successfully for units.dat and weapons.dat but the flingy changes don't seem to happen

Ultraviolet -- in EE2 you just open DatEdit, go to the flingy tab, and make whatever changes you want. Though if you want to do dynamic shit, you have to use the trigger editor with the setdatfile action. And of course you have to inject your changes when done. Can give more specific troubleshooting advice if you provide more details

Symmetry shouted: why can't I seem to make eud editor change flingy.dat D:
