Making buildings spawn larva?

Hey, all. First post.

Since SC2 came out, and I haven't been in the beta, I've been on a SC kick. My general modding skills have improved over the last decade, and I've played around in the editor before, but only recently did I find this huge trove of modding tools. Much easier to do complicated things than Dialbo II or Civ IV, even with it as constrained by hardcoding as it is.

Still, I've got a specific question where I'm not sure if what I want to do is simple, impossible, or somewhere in between. As the thread title says, I want to make other Zerg buildings spawn larva (specifically the Creep Colony). I've added the "Select all larva" button, and added the Creep Colony to the "Spawning Larva" order Dat Requirement in Firegraft. I checked the "Produces Units?" checkbox in DatEdit. I can't imagine it's an iscript issue, and just checked to see if there was anything unusual there.

Anyway, any assistance would be appreciated. I figure it's probably something I've missed, but as I've seen, there are plenty of times when really simple things are strictly impossible.

EXE Edit in FireGraft, though it's only available on patch 1.15.1 unless you want to do a bunch of overcomplicated stuff.

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
