I've been trying to figure out how to use my rectangular region named 'HEAL' so that any units entering it is instantly healed...
But I can't find the goddamn "Bring" condition D=

Event: Any unit Enters Region {Select Region}
Action: Set Property Life 100%

Be more specific? <_<

The thing is that I can't find my 'HEAL' region anywhere. D=
Is it normal that I must type it in? (and it still do not works)
Should it be considered as a Script, Variable, Value, etc.. ?

Region. You're looking for a Region. The event should be structured thusly:

Unit Enters/Leaves Region
Unit: Any Unit
State: Enters
Region: Region 001

Use the 2nd box from the top of the trigger editor to navigate the event properly. This is copied from that - if something doesn't match, change it.

Ah!
I went under "Function" instead of "Value" for the last line.
Thank you very much.

EDIT: Does the value "100" mean 100% or 100 hp?
EDIT: NVM!

Close topic. ^^

I believe that 100 is 100hp. You should try going under functions in that menu and look for a percent converter or something. It should be there somewhere.

Yes, I was under "Life" function.
There is "Life Percent" right under. ;)

New problem: I must leave and then re-enter to make the trigger launch.
How do I make it permanent?

Hrrm. Not sure, really. Try making the event "Every 1 second", condition "There is at least one unit in the region", and action "for each unit in region x, set life to 100%".

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
[2026-6-21. : 4:25 am]
Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.

NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new

Oh_Man -- makes me wonder if SEN knows anything about the topic
