Oooh yeah patches forgot about that... not sure not sure. Weird that you can play single player no patches but not multiplayer.

I wouldnt know I have just been using a copy/pasted Starcraft with a valid battlenet key for years now, long ago lost my CD lol.

Hahaha, I'm playing this in single player now to see what it would be like.
The cannon scene takes like 5 times as long and looks horrible.

Well... I feel like a gigantic asshole now.

Playing it on LAN as suggested. No apparent problems yet. Thanks for the help :D

Haha, I'm surprised you made it through! It's almost impossible to say yes or no to a quest.

Extremely funny and random. But I also thought the temple dungeon was pretty boring. I would have preferred more quests and talking to civilians than fighting hydras haha. Still, great job!

Definitely gonna play single-player maps on LAN from now on. Just finished it; now that I've played it correctly, it's a great map. Epic.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
