so hey peoples its me 10badboy01 (havent posted anything in maybe a year?) i come to SEN from time to time because everyone has such interesting things to talk about on these forums. So yeah enough of my little talk, i know that there is a lot of half life 2 lovers around here and i also know that there is a lot of Canadians. I viewed this video on a mod for half life 2 where its half life 2 in Toronto and i just wanted to know if it was an accurate map of Toronto or not.In addition it looks like a very interesting mod too :P http://www.torontoconflict.com/

Haha from what I saw its got accurate places (though of course most of it is too generic to recognize and there are some places with HL2 only stuff, like the big combine walls/towers). Here are some of the places I recognize:

0:06 - Haha that is the outdoor stage at the North York Civic Center that the combines are standing on
0:48 - Lol thats the subway station closest to my house, I use it all the time
1:07 - That is also outside the North York Civic Center (building in the background with the staircase), he's almost right in front of the outdoor stage
3:01 - I recognize the sign from downtown
3:09 - At the North York Civic Center again. Close to the spot the guy was at 1:07, but further from the building mentioned. You can see the seating for the outdoor stage on the right, above that the pointy gazebo thing is where i smoke sometimes :P And the building behind that is a school board building :X

Zoan -- of course it isn't full understanding. You could ask "is the mechanism by which this counterexample blows up the ONLY mechanism possible for an initial configuration to blow up?"

Zoan -- ppl do it all the time in PDEs

Zoan -- Heinermann
Heinermann shouted: it also didn't solve that problem but hey as long as the investors are pleased
Constructing a counterexample is answering the question: "Is Navier Stokes well posed?" in the negative

NudeRaider -- I only heard about it, didn't any news article, so what did it do then?

NudeRaider -- I have no idea tbh. All I know no human was ever able to solve it, but there's at least a few that beat portal ;)
