Ugh I am so frustrated with my gear. I got the Saronite Swordbreakers as soon as I leveled to 80 so that I could get geared faster...but I'm Unholy deeps. The one time the bracers in pos dropped the pally took them, and I have yet to see the cloak that supposedly drops in hor. I am so close to being entirely awesome. >.<!
Also, I'm leveling a druid and would like it to go as fast as possible...before cataclysm comes out. That may seem like a long time but I'm epic fail. So...what stats are important and what spec makes it fastest? I know you don't like using heirlooms but I have over 100 triumph badges and my gear is a little beyond triumph gear...so I was going to buy a couple of the heirlooms for the xp bonus. Thoughts?
Feral is fastest for leveling. As far as stats go, treat it like a Rogue. You want leather with Stamina, Agility, Attack Power, and Crit.
Heirlooms are fantastic. They make leveling so much faster, and there is no reason not to use them.
EDIT:
And I suggest taking advantage of sites like
http://www.MaxDPS.com and
http://www.WoW-Heroes.com/ to see what upgrades you could use and how your gear ranks. You should look into the two Emblem of Triumph trinkets (the ones that increase Hit with awesome "use" effects) and the Emblem of Frost cape since the one you're wearing now is pretty useless for DPS.

EDIT2:
Boo @ private WoW servers. Those don't count.

For those of us who don't want to pay $15 a month or can't pay $15 a month, they do. I can put up with the glitches - there aren't very many, anyway.

I've been saving my frosts for the cloak...I don't have many of those >.<
I don't count private servers mostly because of how illegitimate they are. I don't know the details with yours, but most I see have major things changed.
The weekly raid gets you an additional 5 each week, Kame. A lot of PUGs do them, so it shouldn't be too hard to find one.

Yea no kidding...I did my first weekly yesterday. I just started doing raiding with my guild. Luckily I'm right with my guild right now as far as raiding is concerned.
Oh, good for you! Raiding is a lot of fun once you're able to clear content and progress.

Who has time for raiding? Damn kids, I remember when I used to do Molten Core for 8 hours to down 2 bosses, those were the days.
I am so glad they abandoned that...
My guild raids from 2:30 to 8:00 PM on Sundays, that's it. Everyone in the guild has jobs and whatnot so that's the only time we have to raid.

And they sort of didn't abandon that. I've been in raids where it's taken hours to kill Marrowgar (the first boss) in ICC. Granted this was when ICC was first released, but still. Without emblems, I have a feeling more guilds would be stuck on progression.

Haha we only have 1 raiding DK. We only do 10-mans, though (due to lack of members for 25) and the group is usually full each week.

And Zycorax, you're coming along nicely.

Are you going to do PvP, or did you just get the necklace and wrist armor to increase your GearScore? That resilience replaces some really important stats, so you'll want to replace those sooner rather than later.
They're just there to fill the slots really. They're better than the PvE alternatives I've got. Going to make myself
Moonshadow Armguards now that I got my LW to 450

Last night my guild passed me over to ToC even though I was marked as tentative. >.> They invited a paly that hadn't even rsvp-ed.
The only true WoW account I have is one my friend let me create on his computer, which is currently a level 5 Night Elf Hunter

Got to level 40, got dual-spec (feral-resto) and super-mount. Created a very nice raidable healing interface, macros to switch equipment sets on shapeshift (it was hard to get it to work properly), and made all hotkeys in all specs and forms correspond for very easy transition. Gawd, I'm awesome. Only thing that I'm a bit worried about is hotkeying caster form abilities beyond the 24th; I'm on the 23rd in resto mode, and I don't want to make another bar, so I'll have to make good use of shift... I hate shift. 1234qwragzxcv + alts + shifts ftw. And clickcasting.

Epic flying is always worth it, because it's awesome to fly at such speeds. And will be useful, probably, in the expansion.

Yeah, considering in Cataclysm you can fly
anywhere, it is definitely worth it.
