So roughly half of the clues against ToA could be against you as well...which I didn't notice until I went to make the quick analysis .

And as for obvious, the big paragraph where Dark_Marine kills the creature=very similar to a boss fight in Resident Evil 4, which MZ (the person who the clues were pointing to anyways) pointed out in a post. I find it irony of the highest sort that nobody caught on to Verdugo, which is the name of the boss. Google sometimes helps, people. He looks like this.

As a sidenote, if you have not played RE4, get it. RPGish to the extreme, very creepy, plus a .50 caliber handcannon, which I also mentioned. That thing kills everything. Almost.
