I had a birthday
and Christmas on the same day (my birthday is six days before Christmas).
I got a very nice backpack from deviantart for my future laptop, money from a rabble of relatives, a really strange sweatshirt with black and white designs and fur around the hood (not my style at all >.>), a rubix cube, candy, and a couple t-shirts from
here.
I had to spend my Christmas day talking and conversing with a group of respected people about my future plan for college, all the while acting cheery and like-able so that in the future when I hold a graduation party with my family, I can receive some monetary help from them all. Although, I really did enjoy talking about DigiPen and answering their questions
The odd thing was that none of them seemed to think I would be able to make a living with an education in computer science, and then heading to the games industry. Those goobs, they all wanted me to "get a real job". Once I start making more money than them all the while enjoying my career, they won't be saying things like that anymore >.>
