Hi, I'm Kyuubi. I enjoy games, anime, computers, and programming. I am currently inactive on Battle.net at the moment because of my college work.

Dungeon Master

Hello. My name is Killer_Kow. I am a former moderator of SEN v4's Miscellaneous (thx for making it null again, btw), Lite Discussion and Welcome forums. I, like DTBK, am wondering what's wrong with a welcome forum. I loved that place.

Hi, I'm Rantent.
I haven't made many maps recently because I've been working to pay for college.
I'm currently working on a Sinfonietta.

Aug 30 2007, 3:00 pm Ayra Post #46

I am Ayra. I did a lot of UMS mapping and modding in 2003 and 2004 but I ended up playing on the PGT until it went down. I play Fire Emblem and racquetball, I've not touched StarCraft in ages but I kept in touch with the community despite barely playing the game (which explains how I knew SEN had been brought back online).

Edit: I am a guy.

Aug 31 2007, 10:21 am marxel Post #47

I am marxel. I'm a former member of SeN and somewhat active in Maplantis. I think I joined SeN back in 2005 or 2006. I'm 12 years old. I'm Asian. I am somewhat popular for a short time back in SeN. That was when I joined SeN Survivor and *almost* stayed but got disappointed when Desperado revealed that letting me in was a joke.

So.. yeah.

I love Tau/Yoshi/Technical Death, Doodan, Voy, ToA, Syphon, DT, Desperado, Rantent, EzDay, Moose, basically everyone I met at SeN back in the days.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[2026-7-16. : 6:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor
[2026-7-16. : 2:28 am]
Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.
[2026-7-15. : 4:10 am]
Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
