Fatal goes to digipen? Didn't know that. I haven't met anybody online then met them IRL, only the other way around.
Nah, he said he was thinking of applying, he lives 40 minutes away from it.
Also, I'm a junior in high school right now, so I would be going in two years.
I totally didn't know that. I shall now treat you as an unequal below me based off of your age. Not really. Though.. I guess I still may see you :O

👻 👾 👽 💪

Well a very long time ago (when SEN had member map and I was finding people near me) I found Ez lived near me and we'd frequently joke about meeting up ("Ohey, I can't find my StarCraft CD." "Oh, I have one come and get it.")

Later he had some classes at my same school and we had a classes at a technical center at the same time so I rode the bus with him every other day. ;o
Anyway, I remember I recognized him when the bus was picking him up and the rest of the seats were full, so I moved over as a gesture of "this seat is available" so he sat next to me. I kept trying to get his attention, but he'd just wave over at me instead. >.> Later waiting for the bus back to our home schools he recognized me and we started talking. ;o We hung out every time we had classes there and he'd give me candy because I'm just as much of a whore irl as I am elsewhere. :P (but in this case that isn't exactly true.. He'd specifically bring candy to give to everyone on the bus.) We hung out sometimes outside of school (like when he took a picture of me browsing SEN at our other friend's house.)

Personally, I thought it was a little awkward meeting someone that I previously knew only as a faceless figure over the internet. >.>

I could've met Voy or Doodle/scwizard the many times I was in NY... I was even invited to a New Years party, but I didn't go. :P

EDIT: Re-reading what I said, the way it is written I keep expecting the next line to be "And one thing lead to another..." :P

Didn't it? ;o
Technically speaking...

I didn't. I was just like, "Ohay, so that's Farty. Neat. ... *bored*"

But... that's showing that my attention is had...

I think the picture was entirely the top of your head, but I forget.

I ended up talking more with one of Farty's friends whom I met through him (since when there was lunch time or waiting for the bus time or whatever we'd be in the same group of 3-6 or so people). Who's also the person whose house we've been at at the same time.

Farty doesn't, so far's I can tell, act much different in person than online, mostly talking less in general, though I tend not to notice talking very easily. And less expressive, without being able to spam emoticons. And in my experience (granted, the number of significant friends I've had offline isn't really many more than the people I've known both through both media) , people met through the internet aren't really terribly especially interesting or unusual.

I almost met Doodle recently, but was stopped due to the fact that the Ontario drivers license testing people have been on strike for about 4 months.
It's true.

I met Voy once, for about one minute at I-CON. My brother was like "that's voy! get him!" and we chased him, then introductions, then we went our different ways.

There's a small chance that me and a friend might try to bike across the country next year, in which case I'll try to meet as many of you as possible.

Just here for the pie

I've never met anyone I've made friends with on the Internet (I'm 15 for Christ's sake) but I think I saw Moose in a forest before. I'd love to meet samsizzle in real life but we're separated by the Canadian border and a lot of land :(. Anyone in South Jersey that lives in a crappy neighborhood with a crappy park by the entrance and a crappy WaWa and Target near it?

Ultraviolet -- That's strange, it looks like you targeted the base image file (sometimes people make the mistake of just using the imgur page link which doesn't work for embedding) but it still didn't work it sounds like.

ManCubuS -- I should try a workaround, thanks! Sadly imgur is blocked in my country for some unknown reason.
[2026-7-26. : 3:05 pm]
NudeRaider -- I think SEN has trouble with https or hotlinking is forbidden. It certainly is nothing about the size, it just fails to get any size. You can get it working if you use imgur and include the actual image link for the img tag. Like this: [img=https://i.imgur.com/ddYqXZa.jpeg]

ManCubuS -- Hey fellas! Anyone knows why when I try to upload an image it says "failed to get image size"? I even tried making it so small. Imgur isn't working here and I tried postimg no luck.
