To enjoy: Typography

I made a video, this is for a Music Video contest held in a college where I'm accepted.
I'm not sure I did this well, but It must be :O

The contest is very important to me cuz if I got to have A prize, well, I can have the scholarship.
I need you guys criticism.

Thank you.

Whoa, I wish I had some helpful criticism to give! I thought the video was just amazing. My only complaint is that it was a bit repetitive.. Although I'm not sure of how you could make the video less repetitive.

But really, I thought the video was excellent! Good work and good luck on the contest!

The words are a bit blurry throughout the video, and I don't really like the song. Cool Ideas at the start, but they get repetitive like Cecil said.

ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO

It's decent. But it gets boring.

If you just give us text tex text and more text it gets boring after a few seconds, no matter how much effects you put to them.
The idea of playing with different depths of field and text positions so it creates a much more depth when you're rotating is... a bit cliche but good.

- You could try using representative images of the lyrics/song plus your text to further improve it.
- Things behind going out of focus = good, things that are in front that are STILL out of focus = not so much. I don't know if it's the video quality but it does seem that the letters that are more "in front" are still a bit out of focus. I hope it's the video quality because if it's on purpose then :x . Try making whatever is infront more sharp.
- The parts of "lalalalala" do not seem as powerful as the rest of the video. I mean that it looks like you did it in just a couple of seconds and you cannot see the dedication you put in the rest of the video. Try making this part more representative and powerful since it actually is a representative part of the song.

EDIT: Or does it have to be text only video?

fuck you all

The video would be really awesome if you added a minicartoon behind all the text. :D And it would solve the boring problem. It would also be better if you made the explosion effects a bit more shiny with more brightness. But overall, I thought it was really cool <_<

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
