So, did you see the moon walking bear? Extremely interesting video :)

This was shown in my Seminary class today, and I'm sure you can guess the reasoning behind showing it, it's easy to miss something when you're not looking for it ;)[/collapse]

I saw something that didn't fit in, but I didn't really pay attention because I was busy counting the passes.

Dungeon Master

I counted 13 passes and noticed the bear. But I think I've seen something similar before. I remember seeing one of these where you're told to watch a customer approaching a counter, and the person at the counter ducks behind said counter and a completely different person comes back up and most people don't notice it.

Are you sure about that?

I counted 13 passes and noticed there was an extra guy in the black-colored team. I did not notice it was a moonwalking bear, however.

I have seen this before as part of a lecture, it wasn't the same video though, and admittedly I did not see the 'bear' the first time I saw it. To make everyone more determined to be correct in the pass count, they told us there was a distinct difference in male versus female accuracy; a mechanic I fell for. The worst part is that they didn't even tell us how many passes there were at the end.

Just here for the pie

I did a test like this before about two years ago. It was the exact same video (pretty much) except there was a gorilla instead of a bear and it pounded its chest. I noticed it the first time as well as counted the exact number of passes.

I failed to realize that there was a bear there. Maybe because it was black, who knows. :P

Loltardbrother.
I didn't notice the bear, I thought he was an extra black team member [a 5th member for the black team, not a black man on the black team].
A side note: here's a video that's the second link in the related:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srzrfuw8QqM&feature=related
I did notice that before I noted the eight standing men...just sayin...

P.S.:There's something in this post you might not notice either...until you look for it.

This. Except I saw a different person-switch one. And I know that I've seen something like this before. Except there was a dancing gorilla instead. It's all stuff you'll see in a psychology class.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
