Just here for the activity... well not really

1024x768, maybe in a few months it'll make it wider, but all I care is that 1024x768 is not a common wallpaper size anymore :C

1920x1080 for my main monitor, 1280x800 for my laptop, and 1024x768 for the various 17" CRTs around the house.

1280x1024, the computer standard.
The more "standard" resolution should have been 1280x960, in my opinion. I never liked 1280x1024 because it messed up the proportions. The CRT monitors were 4:3 and 1280x1024 was 5:4. I always appreciated when a game had the option of using 1280x960 and not just 1280x1024 because of that fact (especially if the game didn't behave properly on anything but 4:3 resolutions). I also dislike that 1280x1024 became pretty much the standard native resolution for most non-widescreen LCD monitors, making all such LCDs have incorrect proportions for any other screen resolution. As far as I know, aspect ratio controls didn't really show up on monitors until sometime after the semi-widescreen monitors became common, and for some reason even those didn't have them initially.

That one is 4:3.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

the max I can use is my answer for the Desktop...
gaming -> mostly trieing to use the highest reslution with stable, high FPS (depends on type of game... for shoters I prefer to have 60+ fps, if I can achieve that somehow.)

currently: 1440x900

1024x768
I tried a 1280x1024, but the light it gave off was too much for my eyes.
Plus, 5:4 fails.
And 1024 is classic.

1280x768 on my laptop. My laptop supports up to 2048x1536, but the LCD screen is 1280x768 so I have to scroll around with the mouse to find anything. :P

2560x1600 on my desktop, 1280x800 on my laptop. 2560x2048 isn't even a real resolution and it's on there, but 2560x1600 isn't? :(
And yes, starcraft is rather interesting to play on a 30 inch monitor.

haha for sure. in some ways it's even more exciting because you can play EUD maps on regular battle.net, don't need to convince someone to download your mod to play with you. what did you do?
