The burden of proof lies on the person making a positive claim. That's you.

No, I believe in things which I have a logical reason to believe in. I've seen videos of WWII, heard first hand accounts, and seen multi-million dollar monuments. I believe it happened.

The crucifixion, I also believe happened. For similar reasons.

None.

Master has given Dobby a doctorate! Dobby is free!

A point so valid I feel it needs to be repeated:

I'm sure many of the events of history "we" consider correct are true. I'm also equally sure any portion of history could be incorrect. If there is more evidence for something there's a greater possibility that it is true.

As for the bible, I'm sure after countless translations and intentional revisions people have distorted the words enough so that some original meanings drastically changed. Do I think Jesus lived and taught? Yes. Do I think he came back from the dead? No. I'm not an expert on the subject, but I remember that there are several conflicting stories about Jesus' resurrection coming from "primary sources."

Win by luck, lose by skill.

Kinda like telephone...You know, the game where you sit in a circle, whisper in someone's ear, and pass the message along until a funky version gets back to the beginner.

I tend to believe things that either are credible or I have experience in. Prudence is key--I don't really believe in any religion because if something has to be "revised" or "edited" all the countless times it has, not much of the original content can be preserved.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
