Didn't really pay much and sounds awesome, it hasn't disappointed me so far. I've been playing with it for like the whole night now and I'm kinda tired, plus I have a weird metal flavor in my mouth
Since I spent so little you can still suggest more stuff, I might end up buying it. Geez, I have such a fetish on learning new instruments.
How about you pick one and get really good at it so you can impress the world. I find that to be a better alternative than just fiddling around with every instrument you can think of...

Oh, wait, hey, play the fiddle.
That's mainly why I want a small instrument, so I can get REALLY good at it. The instruments I listed are there because I actually know how to play them and, except for the drums that I'm only average at it, am pretty good.
If I was pretentious and I listed every single intrument I've ever touched and have produced a sound with them... the list would be larger, way larger.

Waaay too expensive for what I was planning to buy, you obviously didn't read the first post. And anyway, I'm back at university so no time to buy a new instrument now, plus I had my decision made on "Jul 18 2009, 11:57 pm"

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.
Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
