I'm thinking of making a small campaign, but it's been some time since I dabbled with map making, I see there's more stuff than Starforge now.

Anyway, in the actual Starcraft and Broodwar campaign it had screens with green text on a black background, delivering some of the story, followed by a still image background with the Mission name in the bottom left corner, then the briefing. I was wondering if it's possible to make these using current Staredit programs?

Do you mean the full screen pictures of whichever planet you're playing on before the briefings?

If you do, then not that I'm aware of, at least not without modding.

That's what I mean yes, along with the green text screens for Prologue and Epilogue and the like.

If it is possible through modding I'd like to know, I'm pretty much fully editing everything except the graphics in the campaign anyway.

Just mod the campaigns. There are .txt files (I believe in rez\*) that include the text.
