Iscript Limits........

I'd like to know what is the limit of IsID (if it exists) SC supports. This is something I never tried to look at, due to the limitations of other aspects of Starcraft like the number of images, sounds and other features of the game. I always believed that the IsID limit was absolute, but it's not.

Also, I noticed that there are many IsID unused in the normal 412 IsIDs from the Iscript.bin file, like the #1....

It'll be convenient to know if that is because that IsID group are defective, or some other reason.....

Thank you for reading.

As far as I know, the file size is the only real limit.
2-byte offset locations can only mean 65535 bytes of data.
Of course it can be extended just slightly, but that extension isn't significant.

Iscript IDs themselves are not an index. Iscript.bin has a table full of numbers paired with pointers, the numbers are the iscript IDs. You can just throw in any arbitrary numbers you'd like as an IsID as long as it is unique.

TinyMap2 - Latest in map compression! ( 7/09/14 - New build! )
EUD Action Enabler - Lightweight EUD/EPD support! (ChaosLauncher/MPQDraft support!)
EUDDB - topic - Help out by adding your EUDs! Or Submit reference files in the References tab!
MapSketch - New image->map generator!
EUDTrig - topic - Quickly and easily convert offsets to EUDs! (extended players supported)
SC2 Map Texture Mask Importer/Exporter - Edit texture placement in an image editor!

That's something nice to know, thank you.

Ultraviolet -- That's strange, it looks like you targeted the base image file (sometimes people make the mistake of just using the imgur page link which doesn't work for embedding) but it still didn't work it sounds like.

ManCubuS -- I should try a workaround, thanks! Sadly imgur is blocked in my country for some unknown reason.

NudeRaider -- I think SEN has trouble with https or hotlinking is forbidden. It certainly is nothing about the size, it just fails to get any size. You can get it working if you use imgur and include the actual image link for the img tag. Like this: [img=https://i.imgur.com/ddYqXZa.jpeg]

ManCubuS -- Hey fellas! Anyone knows why when I try to upload an image it says "failed to get image size"? I even tried making it so small. Imgur isn't working here and I tried postimg no luck.
