150x50 png, probably including a border, for hosted forum image.
38.png = bright, vibrant 'forum has unread topics'
38_shaded.png = grayscale of 38.png 'forum has been read'

34x34 png, transparent or block with border, for regular forum row and images inside the forum
38_mini.png = bright, vibrant 'forum has unread topics'
38_mini_shaded.png = grayscale of the above

Get Syphon to do it.

Syphon has already agreed to create a few sample pages for how the layout could look. I'll ask him when he finishes it, but I think something simple like this could be done by someone else in the mean time.
