Town Wars [Beta]

In this new Town Wars you will be battling with a possibility of 4 vs 4 players. There is new technology, new upgrades, new balance, and much more.
I feel the balance is just about perfect, because in a match of 2 vs 4, the 2 players can hold their ground extremely well against their foes.

"Who do you think has the better town?"



Problems
1. I'm having a very weird problem where players build a command center(bank) which morphs into a gateway(bank), but the gateway is not buildable it says there. When the command center is being removed, the SCV(Mayor) is being transported to a small pit where it is held until the trigger is done.[/color] *FIXED*
2. The Turret which transforms into a cannon that is supposed to shoot on its own without a pylon does not function properly; I am using enable doodad state over the whole island. *In Progress*

How it works:
OK so everyone starts with a Mayor(SCV). You build a bank(command center > gateway) and that is your financial income( +1 min per bank). You create a city using the profits from your banks and wage war against your enemies. Supply Depot morphs into 3 Marines and 1 Hero Marine, there are a few more buildings like this. I have changed the terrain completely, added new units, new names, a hero's zone, but I want to make it instead of a hero's zone like you get rewards for so many kills.

If you're going to make a map showcase topic, you should really say how the map works.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
