Quote from WoAHorde
No, the Mafia evidently can't think straight.
lul. This is undeniable proof that Twitch is the mafia.

I vote Twitch. I mean really, who else would not kill Deathawk?

Dungeon Master

Many good points have been made against Twitch. Besides, bandwagon ftw. I vote Twitch.

Oh, posh. I was just going to post who I'd been long-suspicious of being the apparently-invincible, mostly-silent, flaming guy was. D:

Wielding papers with the shitty obvious clues written all over, the town collectively shoved as many of them as they could down Twitch's throat, killing him. Don't expect such gifts from me here on out.

** NIGHT SEVEN START **
Mafia, you are the last one of your cause. Carry on!

Haha, nice. I had a feeling it was Twitch.

Oct 12 2007, 2:33 am Dapperdan Post #495

Of course it was Twitch. I told you guys townies were all set. This will be important though, how do you plan on settling 1 mafia vs 1 townie left moose? At Maplantis, if it is day when it reaches this count, I give townies the win, if it is night, then I give mafia the win.

It's really my fault. I had two possible things to write for Twitch's last clue and chose the more obvious one. :/

Oct 12 2007, 2:40 am Dapperdan Post #497

Don't feel bad about whether your clues are too obvious or not. Twitch was fucked anyways. It's awful late in the game, the townies are supposed to be able to have enough clues to work with to get a good chance of lynching mafia. I would say the balance in this game worked darn well.

Aww, I just read through the thread, hoping to verify to myself that I was the first to say Twitch. Deathhawk actualy got in two posts before me. D:

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[06:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

Symmetry -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
