1 - Try making an animated gif. You choose its time of changing
2 - Never
3 - As long as 2 stays the way it does, it wont matter.

01: Make a Flash animation or something and convert it to a .gif.
02: Minerals are currently disabled.
03: As DM said, it doesn't matter as long as 02 is in effect.

Im assuming your avvy is your first attempt, it works but its annoying with that water mark. Lemme see if I can find one that wont leave that...

They bought name color before minerals were disabled, genius.

The remainder are clan tags, which were also purchased before store closing.

There's also the gimp animation package which will export videos to a multi framed picture which can be saved as a gif.

Of course, most animated gifs require more than 30 kB, which is the current max for new members. Old members I think had up to 65 so long as they didn't disable minerals at some point in time. It's pretty told around here nowadays.

Heh, I remember the days when limits were enforced by moderation and I was deleting people's 1.5 and 2MB avatars

the very idea of moderating an image size is stupid. I'm glad there's a max now, enforced via programming, but it's ridiculously low, at least for animations. I don't think you can get a jpg or png at 125x125 at that size without something else there.

OK, guys these are questions moderators or administrators should answer. Why are minerals disabled? Whats he point of the store since minerals are disabled? If you can't get minerals and upgrade your avatar size at the top, why are there still boundries on avatar limits?
