That looks like terrible hit detection to me...

The truth of that screen shot is that I took it a couple of frames AFTER the actual hit. Why? Because you can clearly see that at the moment the bullet goes through the first guys head, it does not go anywhere near the second guy's head, and yet I got the kill. I chock it up to latency issues.

The actual hit boxes for heads are ridiculously small, much smaller than Halo 2. Smaller than any other game I've ever played. If you make a fist and hold it in the center of your face, that is about how big the hit box is for the heads in Halo 3.

i'm still saying halo3 is overrated...what does halo3 have that halo2 doesn't? maybe more weapons and maps and a few extra features, but still they're advertising halo3 like crazy as if it's the best thing that's happened to the world. Replacing it with counterstrike would be awesome.
