Project dropped. Too much balancing.
Please delete this thread.

(I might continue this project later tho, I'll make new thread when I get it 100%)

Sorry you haven't gotten any replies earlier, but this looks interesting. I'm not quite sure about this, but it seems like it is somewhaty like hero wars without the heroes and you just send waves. Except that there are multiple lanes. Good luck on finishing the map.

No problem, I'm still working on this map and I have made lot's of changes like 'Shop levels' and expensive specials (endgame stuff).
Shop levels:
First you start with few different units that you can buy for your team computer. To gain access to level 2 shop (that has stronger units), you need to save minerals to buy the civilian that can be used to buy lvl 2 units.
There is four shop levels for each race right now. It will take a while to make unit stats balanced.

My map has 286 triggers and 167 locations.

What'd be the difference of this between maps like... Desert Strike?
Surely, massing/spawn games are usually strategic.. and Desert Strike is certainly a popular map, and a good map... How is yours different/better??

andddd i'm a bit confused with what's going on in ur map XD... but yeah.. we'll c.. GL =)
286 trigs is nothing <.<

"286 Trigs is nothing" -
To the contrary, none of the numbers of triggers means anything. A 40,000 trigger map can suck more than a 100 trigger map.
Futhermore, that 286 may mean a great condensation of triggers, while 40,000 triggers may just mean that the mapper is unorganized.

Why does 40,000 triggers mean they are unorganized? Maybe they have a really cool system. If you are refering to Ahli's map he has many systems, including over 240,000 items.

I will always 'try' to make my maps with minimal amount of triggers. Most of triggers are shop and spawn triggers.

My map may be similiar to Desert Strike, but not much (I don't want make clone-maps). I actually began making this map long time ago before Desert Strike even existed, but I just got bored making this because there was few problems that I couldn't solve. Now, few months later I got my intrest back and I solved those problems.

I thought a name for my map: Twilight Warfare, v. Epsilon

Which is exactly why I said 286 triggers is nothing <.< .. he can have as many triggers as he wants to point out, but it can still suck.

the name isn't that good in terms of presenting it on Battle.net ...
you'd need smth more aggressive (unfortunately)... or more In-your-face.
"Twilight Warfare" will be just a notch above the avg attention span of b.netters :P... and "v. Epsilon" simply kills it.
rather .. a simple phrase like "War of Epsilon" would be better :P (it doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense .. as long as it sounds cool and not too classy to scare away people)
Call it "Dawn of War" .. or "Dusk of War" or .. "Spawn of War" .. or ..... i don't know. .. but the word "War" automatically lowers the probability that people will join ur game... you may want to find another term...
and don't use "siege" XD..

Symmetry shouted: I did my first EUD thing today. Feels like me finding arsenal at age 8 again
haha for sure. in some ways it's even more exciting because you can play EUD maps on regular battle.net, don't need to convince someone to download your mod to play with you. what did you do?
