I am a transsexual. I do not feel completely female, but definitely not completely male. And yes, that scares close-minded people who believe gender is divided into two neat little boxes. A hermaphrodite is someone born with both sexual organs, and is very rare and often part of a serious genetic disorder, and is often coupled with severe mental retardation.
That is not the case.
