Now that I have had my look around PS, I am impressed with everything but one thing. THEY FORGOT THE STRAIGHT LINE TOOL! I can't make my own straight lines, it ends up becoming a picture itself just from one line. Is there a tool that will make a straight line for me so I don't have to waste hours going over it thousands of times to make it perfectly straight?(Inside photoshop, I don't want a seperate program)

None.

Line tool from paint.

Where you click, make your line, then click again and you have a straight line.

ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO

With any brush click once and then click again where you want your line to end while holding shift.

Hold down the mouse when you click the "Shape" icon. There's a line tool.

I suggest this be moved to creative for any further questions he should have about PS instead of him posting multiple topics and on a wrong section.

That's what I was thinking, and this is the sort of thing you could find in the manual for Photoshop.

If you legally own photoshop, which we all know you don't, then consult your manual. If you don't consult your manual for simple problems then don't make stupid threads about them. Everyday people have much more legitimate problems with the program. Use google, use your brain, but please actually have a real problem.

And I'm not going to close this. I'm going to move it to creative where I hope, in the future, you actually use it for real issues.

Just here for the activity... well not really

You can do it the Kevin way and go through the all the trouble.

1. Use Pen Tool
2. Point A and B.
3. Stroke Path
4. yay. you wasted an extra 5 seconds. have a cookie.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
[2026-6-21. : 4:25 am]
Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
[2026-6-20. : 3:43 pm]
NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new

Oh_Man -- makes me wonder if SEN knows anything about the topic
