They decided that Hug a Zergling must die. They took some rope, made a noose, and put it over a tree. They bound Hug a Zergling's wrists and ankles together so he could not struggle. The noose was placed around Hug a Zergling's neck. The strongest members of the town pulled on the other side of the rope until Hug a Zergling was lifted off the ground by his throat. The other townspeople began to throw rocks at him. After a few minutes of beating, bruising, and choking, Hug a Zergling was killed. The rope was tied to the tree and the corpse hung there as a reminder to the mafia that their violence would not be tolerated.
