Question about monopoly

I do the same, with anything negative done from Chance and Community Chest goes to a bonus at Free Parking. (And when someone lands there, the bonus is reset to $500.)

Same as DM said with the land on GO. Those are nifty addons from the old monoply CD-ROM game for Win95 that I remember.

I started one years ago. Fritfrat took over after I stopped. I think he, too, stopped eventually.

Sounds good, but more or less how many players max? 6 or 7 is what i recommend unless of course your using P12 as houses/stuff. I'd like to see an monopoly map lol

I play jackpots. And yes it does make the game go a "little" quicker sometimes. Other times it can save someone who is in a pinch. I don't do the 400 for landing on Go.

I've always played where if you land on community chest/chance, you give into the central pot, free parking gets that pot.

Ouch, don't talk bad about monopoly if you're going to neglect strategy involved with player2player trading.
It is never in your best interest to sell property to anyone for a price that they are willing to pay. It comes down to taking advantage of the dumb people who don't understand that their property is well over 3 times what they paid for it. The game would be more interesting if it gave an incentive to not buying every piece of land you land on.
Or if it had auctions that actually took place; I know it technically already does, but they might as well be non-existent considering a play has to actually turn down his opportunity to buy property.

I guess it's a little taking advantage of dumb people, but a game where everyone knows the right way to play, it's a game of stupid luck.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
