Ascension of Duran official page

Ascension of Duran has been updated with some important bug and error fixes. If you haven't played the campaign yet now would be a great time to!

I'd also like to note that there is now a Firegraft patch that gives certain units custom spells as well. Only works for version 1.16.1 (latest version).

Change log:
AoD should now properly work in Windows Vista without having to edit bcdedit.exe
Reduced file size of the main .exe by 45mb.
Added a light version of the .exe and maps that remove all music and most graphics/sounds.
Added a firegraft .exe (full version support only) that gives new spells to heroes.
Fixed hero death errors in a few maps.
Added color coded text for various triggers.
Added some text to the epilogue.

Ascension of Duran: Dark Purposes is also currently in active production. Currently about 7/11 maps are 100% completed and the others are WIP. I would like to release the campaign before summer hits.

Just here for the activity... well not really

Yeah, one of the maps froze when I was playing it.

Good to see another blazing campaign still in progress.

You Should make it two players. That's like the only way campaighns are fun i think..

In "Sharktooth", in the last generator area, you can bypass the second ring by going past the doodad, even with the ultralisk. I think it's a bug?

Also, Infested Duran has no "Move" button.

EDIT: In the Protoss temple mission, "Maelstrom Temple", you can rescue a wall trap on the center right side.
It's the area after "Securing inner prisons" and right before "All warriors report to hallway something".

Mission 5, "Betrayal": unit unplacable errors- Dark Templar.

There are minor spelling/grammar mistakes here and there, but nothing serious.

A lot of our campaigns, in fact all of them, are single-player campaigns, and these are top-quality projects reviewed on various international and national magazines, I do believe single-player campaigns have the ability to be fun and entertaining.

DevliN, this is a campaign with a custom SEMPQ, so while technically it is a mod, it is not a multiplayer mod. It's used to further enhance the single-player campaign experience with custom graphics, music, audio, etc.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
