Well I just meant it would be good for singing like Total Eclipse of the Heart at a karaoke bar or something as opposed to singing a bit more rock like... such examples would be taking back sunday, rise against, the arctic monkeys and just generally anything that sells...

Well, you asked for a reply and I shall deliver. Honestly, I don't listen to much music, There are few bands I listen to, I would honestly not listen to your music a lot. Not cuz it's bad or anything, just cuz it's not something I would listen to. Your guitarism is decent . I do think you aren't the greatest singer though. (again, coming from someone who knows nothing of music).

ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO

IMO, singing classes are only good to a point.
Yes, they are good because you'll learn how to control yourself, how to user lower tones how to brighten up your voice and as well as other techniques that will improve your technique. i.e. learn how to use your stomach for singing, which is actually what you use, when/how to breath and partly how to note the difference between types of voices and notes.
They're bad because usually and ALMOST ALWAYS music teacher will try and/or actually force you to learn their very personal style. The style one choses is up to them and a teacher should never try to make the student sing in X way or X style. I've never actually taken any music classes, except for some when I was in school and around 3 more months of guitar (I got bored since I wasn't being taught anything) but I have always given the advice that when you already know how to do something and a teacher starts telling you to do something the way he does it, it's time to quit.

fuck you all

Symmetry shouted: I did my first EUD thing today. Feels like me finding arsenal at age 8 again
haha for sure. in some ways it's even more exciting because you can play EUD maps on regular battle.net, don't need to convince someone to download your mod to play with you. what did you do?
