It is ninjas. Even if a pirate has a sword or gun, the ninja is too quick and can dodge it. So if they have cannons on they're ships? Again, too quick. Those ninja stars are sharp by the way.

I'm with the Pirates. The Black Pearl is just as stealthy as ninjas.
I'd love to see a cannon blow a ninja's head off.
Also, the pirates have a captain with a magic compass.
