...I sounds to me like you should quit being lazy and just start a new and interesting RPG from scratch. There is a contest going on afterall, are you signed up?

Woah

Quote from Steeldragon
sorry for thread bump, but it should be known that the map is on temporary hiatus. expect work to begin again mid-late january.
So then bump it when it's back on. If the thread dies, then people don't care about the progress of your map until you give them more to care about.

And stop double-posting.

This map reminds me of "Insanity" (crash landing, have to find parts of the ship to get back up), though I doubt anyone else remembers that one. Oh well.

Teraunce, the ^

consider the map as released. I will not be working on it anymore. I have ideas for a remake, but they won't be implemented yet.

I might work on this a bit more...who knows...if people would post bug reports it would be helpful.

why dont you just screw this map and start from scratch but do a bit of planning first so you know what your doing. And add a decent storyline with some cinematics or something.

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.

I actually did start a remake of this, but stopped, because I kinda just stopped...

Edit: That, and everyone wanted this one bug-fixed.

You need photoshop for you to read the starcraft picture, go in local disk - program files - starcraft
The screenshot (number)
then give it to someone who can convert it to you.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
