So I got bored and started toying around with FL Studio 5 (Yea I know theres better and later versions, quiet xD) and made a Trancy/Danceish song, however I know it needs work.

So thats why Im posting it here, tell me how to improve it so it may truly be a good song

Heheheheheheheheheh. Good ol Fruity Loops Plugins, hehe.

I'd get VST, and VSTi if you really want to make songs that sound 'professional' in FL.

Remember this when making Trance: It usually changes every 32 beats.

Doesn't mean you can't go through and 'break' the norm

It needs a bassline, too. That first noise is good for a synth to put you in a Trance, but you need that bassline to fill the song.

Those are a few I consider to be some of my best.. Just take a listen to em and listen to how I 'fill' the frequency range, and give elements to my songs to make them 'present'

If you had a bassline, your song would be much better. Its good for a beginner song though

NimoStar -- the thing with the "*12" thing is completely misleading. The AI isn't using two control groups, it can use each of those actions to command a single unit individually and issue different commands to each single unit.
