I might tweak it a bit. Perhaps they can do a suicide attack at night, killing themself and the target. They'd get bonus minerals if they hit a mafia member... which is great, except we're not playing for minerals yet. Or perhaps if the psycho gets lynched, he gets to suicide into a person of his choice and take them down with him. Suiciding seems more "psycho".
Town drunk has the potential to be an interesting strategical position... other people could impersonate the drunk and thus try to avoid lynching. ;o
