Whatever.... Blizzard should make an Editor patch, which adds many features to the editor
(detect movement, multi center location etc.)

I beleive these are coded inside the engine, and to add those features, you'd have to decompile StarCraft itself.
What? Blizzard does not have to decompile it as they have the source. How do you think they make the patches they do? Every patch edits the EXE, even if it only changes data files.

TinyMap2 - Latest in map compression! ( 7/09/14 - New build! )
EUD Action Enabler - Lightweight EUD/EPD support! (ChaosLauncher/MPQDraft support!)
EUDDB - topic - Help out by adding your EUDs! Or Submit reference files in the References tab!
MapSketch - New image->map generator!
EUDTrig - topic - Quickly and easily convert offsets to EUDs! (extended players supported)
SC2 Map Texture Mask Importer/Exporter - Edit texture placement in an image editor!

This "or" at the begining of a sentence is getting really annoying... i have to retype something over and not start the sentence with or.

Form the habit of always putting a space before your sentences. :P

I just want to say I could never log into b.net with vista until this patch. It also fixed the distorted colors on the flash screen for me.

You needed ToggleNX to use b.net.

I'm used to placing double spaces after periods. Screw the starting with a space. :bleh:

Apparently, the text saving feature in replays causes another bug.

Pause a game. Have a nice conversation of reasonable length (not sure if it's amount of time or text that causes the error). Resume. Save the replay of the game. Now try watching the replay. :-(

So blizzard is still patching...

I must admit I'm quite impressed by their persistence if nothing else.

I wish that I could say the same for D2.

Staredit Puckwork

i wish that the patches didnt change the offsets. :-_-:

The new offsets can be calculated fairly easily manually.

It's just that we need a trigger editor with full EUD support. Such an editor could theoretically automatically adjust to accommodate a change in offsets.

P.S.: Floating SCVs is still possible :)

There already has been trigger-actions/condiitons added. Look in the patch.txt and scroll down
[yea I was bored so I've read the whole file >.<]

SCVs building from a distance while floating over impassable terrain is also possible :)

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[2026-7-16. : 6:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
