I got out of one pretty fast by e-mailing support@blizzard.com . Have to say "I was unfairly banned from battle.net," With some more info added onto it.

Or I could assign myself a new IP Address. And the last time it happened, I tried that - didn't work.

What do you mean assign yourself a new IP Address? Unless you have access to the hub that is sending out the addresses, you can't do it, changing your IP behind a router does nothing.

So you're suggesting that I disable my router for a good 8 hours?

Yeah, if you could sneak into all your neighbor's houses and disconnect and reconnect their modems, that might help too :P

Thigh high affectionado

Static ips are permantly bound via account on current day ISP's, they only give you a new one if you ask. I say this cause I just got IP'd

EDIT: LOL pulled a centeri and it worked.

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.

So I was testing out a few keys yesterday and got carried away, loaded a few too many bots and Blizzard apparantly IP Banned me. Yes, you can laugh all you want (Echo), but is there any way to... shorten the term? I beleive the ban is lifted in 2 weeks, but still...

I've got many keys too... I used em for my bot, some didn't worked (already in use or banned) but I did not get banned at any time... if you want my "collection" of CD-Keys, PM me....

So if I set my router to use Dynamics, would it work?

If you just disconnect your modem, and wait for a while, the hub you're connected to is likely to give you a new IP address.
Or I could assign myself a new IP Address. And the last time it happened, I tried that - didn't work.
Then this obv isn't an ip-ban, it's cdkey.

Then obviously you are wrong because I was unbanned. :-_-:

No, that's just the IP address behind your router, which only matters locally, once it goes back through the router, it is given the IP address assigned by your hub, so if you're hub is static, there's nothing you can do except pull a Centreri or wait it out.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
