I recommend soloing the map. It's much harder that way, especially as BC.
Many thanks to TassadarZeratul for helping with motivation, hours of testing, and being an awesome map partner.

EDIT: A few tips:
-As BC, you need an academy (FTL Drive), especially if soloing the map.
-As Wraith, don't get sci facility (Tactical AI). You don't have enough space for it to be useful.
-Addons are awesome.
-A CC (Torpedo Launcher) or two can be really useful, especially as BC.

Dude it's a fun map, couldn't finish it but its fun! You should make the real game PvP, something like temple siege.

Boy, I haven't been here in a while.
Sky, I'll play the demo with you sometime, just MSN or txt me

.
Edit: And you told me you'd put my name in credits.

So how's the map going? I am really interested in playing the definitive vers!
None.
And if we make it PVP it'll be too much like starquest, I'm pretty sure..
Actually I'd like to see a PvP version of your map very much Madroc.
Starquest doesnt have half the equipment your map has and so the possibilities could be interesting.
In fact, I purposely limited the buttons in StarQuest to be all within 1 dropship for simplicity's sake, not that it helps noobs learn to play or anything.
I love PvP 3v3, its essential to many maps where you customize yourself such as Hero Sanctuary, Temple Siege, and Custom Hero Wars.

I'd like to say I love the behaviour of the Terran Goliath that spawns once in a while if you build a Missile Turret. I'm guessing you spawn an MG and try to move the goliath to all MG positions until one 'works' so it basically never fails.
I'm annoyed a little bit by how you cant do stuff while building your ship. With more players for "cover" this would probably be ok though.
Excellent introduction, forcing the player to follow simple instructions like "build refinery (ship's engine)".
That kind of intro/tutorial should have a high pub-nub success rate, they either read one freaking line of text or leave the game. Gj on that.
Can you please edit your post and provide info on the buildings again pretty please?

When Madroc and I were testing together, it was much easier than when I was playing alone because one of us could hold off the spawn while the other builds. Firebats complicate things, but otherwise it was fine. With more players, this shouldn't be a problem at all. Especially if you aren't playing as Terran.

I actually had an idea for a map like this. 'lo and behold here it is. Nice work

I dont see a thread with the finished map, did this get done on the planned release date or no?
None.
The demo felt good.
What does building more Armories do tho?
None.
There's no point to making more armories or bunkers than needed.
None.
what do science facilities actually do?
by more xp do you mean more points toward mineral shipments?

i like it, i love it. i want some more of it.

Just finished beating it, fun stuff. I've always liked the design a ship and fight in it genre stuff. I didn't get a chance to test all the weapon systems as my victory kind of snuck up on me (only two bases really..?). Not much of a storyline, rpg elements in the ship upgrading and all but I have to admit I was expecting a little more. The plans for the final sound good though--tons of ship options and all. Just need a story for why the ship is attacking these enemy waves and all that. Seems like it might be a bit too easy to win just getting massive armor and attack upgrades. I didn't feel a huge incentive to get a lot of other systems with the effectiveness of upgrades and the shortness of the demo.

The final map is almost finished (really!) and will have all the elements you described.
Will be done by next week, because then I won't have robotics eating up 80% of my time.
