I agree with Rantent in that it ended quite abruptly, but I enjoyed it. You've got talent ;o
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?wnlzonnzjivtheres a crappy demo of a song i just started...not really good, but the few people i've shown liked it.
suggestions please.
Wow, nice. I wouldn't mind if it was on my playlist o.O". I liked your piano song too. Sounds like a bunch of songs strung together though.

I created a short sort of intro piece on House of the Rising sun, by recording first two slightly differently timed arpeggio tracks (not entirely an intentional effect, but it does create a cool delay sound), then a melody line and a very simple bass line.
The other is a fingerpicking of the chords of "Don't Think Twice It's Alright" by Dylan without a huge regard to the original fingerpicking pattern, my... unique vocals, and a melody line. Also, I've got a rough cut of "All Along The Watchtower" that me and my band are working on.

Cool sounding, although not quite as cool as a house in New Orleans.
Those are your vocals? Good mic.
My mind has been like mud for the past month or so, so I haven't been able to concentrate on one thing for very long.
My Jig For st patties day, unfortunately my mind was not on making it for very long.
Breaktime Its short length is relative to how much break time I actually got...
To Rebegin Reminds me of some hymn or something.
And I don't see this one posted, so I might as well...
Castor I'm going to change the piano at some point or another, and then make it longer.
I like how whenever I say that I'm uninspired, I always get inspiration. I actually have quite a nice piece I'm working on now. I will probably post it later, but heres a section I liked enough to set as a loop.
Its very short, but its only a piece of the whole.

Drunk Prom Waltz Experimentation with some bitonal keys, as well as a waltz. Based partly upon what I remember prom being.

I thought 'My Jig' was pretty cool. Not a fan of breaktime. To Rebegin was pretty cool. I liked Castor the best. The last one in that post is too short to critique, really. The Waltz is appropriately named, but it actually gets pretty cool near the end.
Question, how exactly are you creating these pieces?
None.

It's a loop.
I create them on
Garageband. But if the program didn't come free with your computer, I would suggest not buying it.

Just used a microphone. Knockin' On Heaven's Door at 11:00-11:30PM. Got alittle sloppy towards the end, and I couldn't manage to sing the verse an octave higher like I'd wanted.
http://www.lightningmp3.com/live/file.php?id=12418This is a song I wrote. Fear my powers.

>>StickifiedIf anyone still wants to make their own thread for their music (like I did -- hopefully because you have an abundance of stuff to post) then go right ahead, but I felt like this deserved to be stickied because it's something I feel is an important part of this subforum: the ability to post things you've created and receive feedback.

I haven't done much with music on my computer lately. I've mainly been doing things on paper.
Hero Something I made this morning, thinking of a good rpg I played last night.
loops alright I think.

I thought that was really cool. Seems like it would be awesome video game music.

Love things like this. Needs something more drum like though, the bass beat noises were too quiet.

I just listened to all of those. You've got some talent. I really liked a few of them. Well done =)
